Frequently asked questions
General
We are a paid study library. You take a membership and get a dedicated desk in a quiet, air-conditioned reading room for the time slot you choose. We are not a coaching class — we do not teach, set tests or sell study material.
Yes, please do. Walk in any day between 9 AM and 8 PM and we will show you the reading room and the available seats. No appointment needed.
Membership
Yes. Your allotted seat is yours for the whole membership period during your time slot. Nobody else is given the same seat for an overlapping period.
You can request a seat change from the student portal or at the counter. We grant it subject to availability, and your history of which seat you held when is kept on record.
You will get reminders seven days before and again on the day. After the end date a grace period applies; once that passes the seat returns to the available pool and may go to someone else. Renewing before expiry always keeps your seat.
Fees
Cash or UPI at the counter, bank transfer, or online card payment from the student portal if the centre has enabled it. Every payment gets a numbered receipt you can download at any time.
Yes. Part payments are accepted and the balance stays visible in your portal. The invoice shows exactly what has been paid and what remains.
Each plan has a grace period after the due date. A late fee only applies once that grace period ends, and only if the centre has enabled late fees. The exact amount is shown on your plan.
Fees already paid are generally not refundable, including if you discontinue mid-period. A security deposit, where collected, is returned after adjusting any dues. Exceptions are at the management's discretion.
Leave
Your seat stays reserved for you while you are away, so the fee for the period still applies. You can record the leave in the portal so your attendance is accurate. Some centres do allow a fee adjustment for long leave — ask at the counter.
Facilities
Premium cabin seats include a personal locker. Lockers are also included free on the yearly plan. For other plans, ask at the counter about availability.
Yes. Every desk has a power point and the Wi-Fi covers the whole hall. Please use earphones for anything with sound, at a volume only you can hear.
Rules
Strictly. Phones on silent, calls taken outside, no conversation in the silent zone. There is a separate discussion area for group study. Repeated breaches can end a membership.
No food at the desk. Water in a closed bottle is fine. There is a pantry and break area away from the reading room for tea, coffee and snacks.
